Dungeness Crab ( Metacarcinus magister ) is named for the small fishing village of Dungeness, Washington, on the Puget Sound. The namesake Crab has been commercially harvested in Washington since 1848 - the oldest known shellfish fishery of the Pacific Northwest.

Bluefin Tuna

Southern California waters remain uncommonly warm this autumn due to 'El Nino'.  Rather than making their regular migration south, Bluefin Tuna remain local.  This late-season Tuna was line-caught off the coast of Catalina Island.
